This particular technical file demonstrates how to make a pair of harem pants, characterized by their very low crotch and full fabric volume developed between the legs. To finish this piece, as for most trouser styles, a straight waistband and different pocket types can be added. These pants are created using the dp studio’s transformation process and the classical trouser base pattern (one front dart, two back darts) is your starting point. Each step to follow is illustrated by precise written instructions and sketches for a full understanding and top-of-the-range result in the size of your choice. This new base can then also be modified or developed further, leading to a many different possibilities.
