Dress cut at the waist with princess seams on the bodice and low back neckline

With this technical file, dp studio gives you the opportunity to make a dress cut at the waist (seam located just below the waist) with princess seams (seam that extends from the armhole down to the waist seam, passing through bust point) and open back neckline (rounded neckline). To construct this model, use the bodice base pattern as your starting point and follow the file’s explanations step by step. For this example, the skirt part of the dress has knife pleats at the front and godets at the back (volumes of fabric forming an undulating movement). For a full understanding and a top-of-the-range result, the written instructions are illustrated by explicit sketches, in compliance with the predefined size of your choice. Using this quality base, other transformations are possible. To develop the base further, you can use: The technical file of the short sleeve base pattern The technical file of the glove sleeve The technical file of the leg-of-mutton sleeve.
