Bodice base with two front and back waist darts

For a successful bodice with two front and back waist darts, dp studio has compiled this technical file, established with precision and attention to detail, and explained for various different sizes. The clear instructions are accompanied by explicit sketches to bring you a full understanding of the work undertaken and they will lead you to a result of top-of-the-range quality. Using the bodice base pattern as your starting point, it is possible to add waist darts to divide up differently the fitted style of the waist. This operation is recommended when there is a fairly big difference in volume between the waist, bust and large hip measurements (a small waist in relation to the other two measurements, notably). This base can also be used to construct other clothes, for example shirts, dresses, jackets, coats and bustiers… You can therefore work in association with: The technical file of the short sleeve base pattern.
