Use this pattern if you want to make an umbrella cape with a maximum of volume. Put together by the dp studio method, this outline (available in all (UK) sizes from 8 to 20) does not include the seam allowances and pieces necessary for finishing the cape, as they will depend on your creative development of the piece and the transformations you bring to it. Due to the full volume of the umbrella cape, godets form (undulating movements in the fabric) when the piece is worn. An opening is created in the center for the head to pass through.
